Beyond the R13 insulation that the arched tiny home kits come with, you can purchase upgraded R25 insulation. From there, the company also recommends spray-foam insulation if you need more than that.
“The cabin design is very efficient, and they can be heated and cooled easily with window units, mini-split systems, and wood-burning stoves,” they explain.
How Much Do Arched Tiny Home Kits Cost?
Arched tiny home kits come in a wide range of sizes, so naturally, the prices change depending on what you buy. The smallest costs $1320; however, if you include all of the available upgrades, it will cost you $1940. This cabin is 8 ft x 8 ft.
The prices go up from there, up to the largest cabin. At 30 ft x 40 ft, the basic arched tiny house kit will cost you $18,000. If you include all the available upgrades you’re looking at a final price of $22,300.
These prices do not include delivery. They based the fee on how far the kits have to travel to get to you. This price is:
- $2 per mile for cabins up to 24 feet long
- $2.50 per mile for cabins 25-40 feet long
So say you live in New York, you’re looking at a delivery fee of between $3500 and 4500 dollars. They can only ship outside of the U.S. to countries that recognize their patent.
